Game streaming services such as Antstream are dependent on the quality of the network connection on the on the user side. While the quality of the stream is excellent for the majority of our users, unfortunately some users will notice lag and input delays which are usually due to network issues.
So let's start by troubleshooting from there:
- Check Your Internet Connection: A stable and fast internet connection is vital for game streaming. If possible, please use a wired Ethernet connection.
- Wi-Fi Signal Strength: If you're using Wi-Fi, try moving closer to the router to improve your signal strength.
- Network Congestion: If there are multiple devices connected to your network, this can slow down your internet speed. Try disconnecting other devices that may be using bandwidth.
- Test Your Network Speed: Visit a site like speedtest.net to check your download and upload speeds. For smooth streaming, a minimum of 15 Mbps for download speed is recommended. If your speeds are significantly lower, this could be the cause of the lag. You can also go to Settings, select the Support tab and then Test your Connection
- Close Background Applications: Ensure no high-bandwidth applications are running in the background on your device or on other devices in your network.
- Restart Your Device and Router: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve these issues. Turn off your device and router, wait a few moments, then turn them back on.
- Change region: You may be connected to a server that is not the best for your location. You can go to Settings and change your Region to different location.
