Currently navigation of the Nvidia Shield’s virtual keyboard is exclusive to the Nvidia Shield Remote. You will be unable to navigate the virtual keyboard with the Nvidia gamepad.
If you have a wireless keyboard connected by bluetooth to the Nvidia Shield, you can manually enter information that way.
We are aware of this problem and it is being investigated.
